A glimpse Into The Theatre

Join us in the bookshop on 12th September for a very special evening celebrating the magic of live theatre.

We’ll be welcoming talented actors from the Stamford Shoestring Company, Stamford Shakespeare Company and Corby Amateur Dramatics Society, who will be bringing the stage to life in our bookshop with a selection of snippets from some much loved plays.

You’ll get the chance to experience scenes from beloved works including Treasure Island and 1984, alongside selections from Shakespeare. All of which will be performed right here in the cosy surroundings of the bookshop.

Whether you’re a lifelong theatre lover, a Shakespeare enthusiast, or someone who has never had the chance to go to the theatre and want to dip your toes in then come along and enjoy a wonderful evening of live performances.

And the best part? It’s completely free to attend.
