Writers Circle

THE WRITERS CIRCLE

This month we are diving into the importance of the first page and exploring how those opening paragraphs can set the tone, introduce a voice, create intrigue and make a reader want to keep reading.

Then it’s time to put it into practice!

We will look over some examples of some brilliant first pages followed by either reviewing your own first pages or attempting a new first page. Sharing is encouraged, but never compulsory.

For the rest of the session, the space is yours. Settle in for an hour of dedicated free-writing time to work on your current project, start something new, or simply see where your imagination takes you. Lauren and Eden will be around throughout if you’d like advice, feedback or someone to bounce ideas off.
