About The HORROR Book Club

About The Club

This book club is perfect for those who love Horror books.  The club is not for the faint hearted. We are talking scary and gory. Whether you're a fan of  Laird Barron, John Langan, Stephen King or those out there indie author's then this is the club for you.

We specifically chose Jodie to run this book club because if your this deep in everything horror and gore then you need an expert. Jodie is fully immersed in the horror book genre. She runs a bookish podcast Teatime with Tricia & Jojo where they interview authors and narrators from around the world. In her spare time she edits books prior to being published and is an alpha, beta and ARC reader. She works on the admin team for Ashlynn Author best known for their Kings of Chaos and Mayhem series and Steph Macca best known for their Dance With My Demons series.

Anyone but this is an adult book club and adult themes will be discussed.

For all adult book clubs we say you must be over 16. Please note adult themes may be discussed.

The membership is £5.00 per month .

We meet once a month at The Quill & Quiver shop. Please see the events page for specific dates and times.

Come along anyway, life happens, we don't hold it against anyone.

We want to make sure everyone enjoys what they are reading so the book group are consulted each month but final decision on the book is made by The Quill & Quiver. There may be themes from time to time eg October may relate to Halloween in some way.

No thank you. For a lot of our attendees this is their hobby away from families, their little escape  as such we ask that children remain at home. However please do look into our children specific book clubs.
